Abstract

Bath compsns., in the form of compressed tablets which dissolve in water over a prolonged time, supplying continuously fresh material into the bath water, contain an effervescing agent, a binder consisting of urea, dimethylurea, ethylene-urea or urea-H2O2 ore their mixtures, in which the wt. ratio of effervescing agent to binder is between 2/1 and 1/12, and a cosmetic additive used in dermatology at 0.1-10% of the total wt. of tablet. The ingredients, of which the solids are in the form of a powder, are mixed and placed in a mould, without a preliminary granulating stage, and then pressed at between 276 and 1034 bars. The tablets dissolve completely without leaving any deposite in the bath.
