Products obtained by acylation of amino acids with 6-30C fatty acids are used for treatment of skin conditions in furred or feathered animals. Pref. Fatty acids contain 8 or 12 C atoms. Compns. have high penetrating power and specific antiparasitic properties. They re-establish the epidermo-dermic physiological equilibrium.
