Abstract

COATING COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVING STABILITY OF DRY PROCESSED SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC EMULSIONS. M3B. Contains (I) a stabilising precursor, and (II) a hydroxybenzoic acid, or a salt or ester of hydroxybenzoic acid. The composition is used for treating photographic materials which are to be dry processed. Products have better stability, in particular, loss of image density is avoided, and the degree of fogging is reduced. the photographic products also have a better stability during storage under humid conditions.
