Abstract
Paint contains as filler a Pb cpd., and a cpd. to absorb the secondary emissions from Pb. Pref. the mixture comprises 70-90% of a lead cpd., (pref. lead oxide), 5-25% of iron or an iron cpd., 5-10% of a calcium cpd. (calcium carbonate), in combination with binder of 25-50% (related to mixture) of film-forming agent (vinyl acetate), 10-20% thickener (methyl cellulose) and 2-10% dispersant and wetting agent (ammonium salt of vinyl acetate copolymer).
