Abstract

Photographic product contains a silver halide emulsion with a fog inhibitor as stabiliser, selected from compounds of formula I, II or III: (where R is alkyl; r1 is H or alkyl; n is 2 or 3; and M is a chelate-forming metal). In compds. I, II and III, M is pref. Cr (III), Cu(II), Mn(II) or Fe(III). The compds. inhibit the formation of chemical fog by the silver halide emulsion without considerably reducing the sensitivity of the emulsion.
