Abstract
Tubular heat exchanger.. F--. Advantages: increased number of tubes for a given volume compared to standard equipment; better assembly design of circular hermetic seal arrangement. Comprises a set of tubes located inside an extended housing between two anchorage plates to which they are connected; one of the anchorage plates of the tube arrangement is fixed to the other and is arranged to move inside the housing. A peripheral flange is located on the end of the housing facing the mobile tube anchoring plate and a channel is provided inside the housing next to the anchorage plate of the tubes. A ring separated from the flange has a lip fitting into the channel and of the same internal diameter as the housing. A hermetic seal is located inside the channel between the lip and the housing proper. A terminal closing device retains the fluid discharged by the heat exchange tubes and has a peripheral flange with a head coaxial with the ring and in contact with the latter. Mobile components connect the flange of the head to the cylindrical ring and adjustable components connect the latter to the housing flange, these last being accessible without removing the head.
