Abstract

Title panel consists of a light concrete main layer (I) and a heavy concrete facing layer (II). (I) is composed of >=800kg/m3 gross density concrete and (II) is >2300kg/m3 gross density concrete. The ratio of the thicknesses of (I) and (II) is 7-14 pref 13, the thickness of (II) increasing from 7-12mm as the ratio varies between 7 and 14. Pref. (I) is a mixt. of swollen or inflated perlite and suitable binders, and (II) is washed concrete.
