Abstract

Blocks impregnated with a volatile chemical and drilled with a pattern of holes to adjust the surface/volume ratio for dissipating the chemical. Esp. for dispensing insecticides, deodorants, etc. over a period of several weeks. Blocks are pref. of PVC drilled with holes pref. 5-10 mm dia. pref. for every 1 to 10 cm2 exposed surface, for releasing dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate.
