Abstract

Knitting machine warp or weft feed. Two flexible bands fitted with hollow studs operate in conjunction with each other on a swing frame to select yarns from individual bobbins. The band feed carries the yarn to one side of a transport frame, lays it across to give a specific width, attaches it to a clamp on the other side providing a constant supply of yarns for the tricot knitter. The design allows yarn changes without halting the knitter.
