Abstract

The cars are connected like the links of a chain and are moved along a path in a closed circuit, esp. in front of teeming ladles. Each car is connected to the one before and the one behind by a coupling organ which pivots at three points, and the cars are driven by one or more toothed pinions engaging drums carried by the cars.
