Abstract

Agglomeration of common salt is reduced by adding a small amount of Fe acetate to salt crystals, pref. in a proportion of 1/50000. The Fe acetate is obtd. by dissolving a colloidal soln. of Fe(OH)3 in vinegar. Caking of salt during storage is thus prevented by use of harmless, edible materials.
