Abstract

Cleaning packaging material. Bacteriological, mechanical or chemical cleaning of the inside surface of packaging by means of sterilising, neutralising, dissolving or use of a catalytic agent is carried out by charging a liquid or aerosol with steriliser neutraliser, solvent or catalyst. This medium is flowed over the surface of the packaging material in a direction from the surface area from which impurities are first eliminated to that part of the contaminated surface from which impurities have not yet been removed.
