Claims (6)
1. Sätt att framställa potatisfiber genora 5 a) tvättning (2) av potatis (1), b) sönderdelning (3) av potatisen i fruktsaft, stärkelse och pulpa, c) separation (4) av stärkelsen (8) frän fruktsaften och pulpan (5), d) avskiljning (6) av fasta föroreningar frän pulpan, e) awattning (11) av pulpan för att avlägsna en del av fruktsaften, 10 f) raffinering (12) av den awattnade pulpan g) torkning (16), och h) raalning (18) till färdig potatisfiberprodukt (20), kännetecknat därav, att vid steget d) fruktsaft avskuminas (9) 15 och tillsättes pulpan (5) till bildning av en pulpa/fruktsaftblandning (10), som har en torrsubstanshalt av ca 4-7 %, företrädesvis ca 5-6 %, och som befrias frän fasta föroreningar genom densitetsseparation; att vid steget f) pulpan, som har en torrsubstanshalt av 12-17 %, raffi-20 neras sä att halten av fruktsaft och lösta salter i pulpan nedbringas, genom att pulpan förpressas (13) till en torrsubstanshalt av 20-30 % och därefter tvättas (14) genom tillsättning av vatten till en torrsubstanshalt av 11-16 %, varpä pulpan slutpressas (15) till en torrsubstanshalt av 20-30 %, varefter den raffinerade pulpan fore torkningen (16) even-25 tuellt tillföres torkad pulpa (17) sä att den pulpa som inmatas i torks-teget har en total torrsubstanshalt av 40-60 %; att den raffinerade och torkade pulpan vid steget h) males till en färdig potatisfiberprodukt med en genomsnittlig partikelstorlek av högst 30 ca 1 mm.
2. Sätt enligt kravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att den i steget d) tillförda fruktsaften avskummas (9) i en hydrocyklon. i2 90387
3. Sätt enligt kravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att blandningen (10) av avskummad fruksaft och pulpa i steget d) befrias frän fasta föroreningar i en cyklon. 5
4. Sätt enligt nägot av kraven 1-3, kännetecknat därav, att pressningen (13,15) i raffineringsteget f) genomfbres i skruvpressar.
5. Sätt enligt nägot av kraven 1-4, kännetecknat därav, att vattnet tillföres den pressade pulpan i raffineringssteget f) under om- 10 blandning av pulpan.
6. Sätt enligt kravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att den torkade pulpan males (18) till en genomsnittlig partikelstorlek av högst ca 0,5 mm. 15 II
