Abstract

The invention concerns an arrangement for air conditioning and heating of a room, which arrangement can be combined especially with a window structure. This arrangement 1 comprises at least two air ducts 5, 11 provided with at least one fan 6 between the outside air and room. The ducts have devices 9, 10 to control the air flow through the ducts by means of which fresh air can be blown in by the fan 6 through one duct into the room. The room air in turn flows out through the other duct 11. The channels also have a heat exchange device 4 to transfer heat from the outflowing air to the inflowing fresh air. According to the invention the heat exchange device has material layers 4 arranged in the air ducts, which are permeable to air and consist of heat-absorbing and releasing material. Granular material is preferably used, like crushed carbonate rock. The fan 6 is designed to blow continuously in the same direction, in which fresh air or room air flow is guided by means of control device 9, 10 so that fresh air or room air respectively flows through the different ducts 5, 11 and layers 4 in them. With the arrangement according to the invention heat in the outflowing room air can be effectively recovered and transferred to the fresh air. <IMAGE>
