Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle wheel axle with an axle tube having at its ends axle journals for receiving wheel bearings of identical bearing diameter constructed as tapered roller bearings. In order to improve such a vehicle wheel axle, it is essentially provided according to the invention that the axle tube is of identical or essentially identical diameter over its entire length including the axle journals.
