Claims (7)

Patenttivaatimukset:
1. Menetelmä komposiittimateriaalin valmistamiseksi, joka komposiittimateriaali käsittää ainakin luonnonkui- tuainesta, kuten puuperäisiä kuituja, puuperäisiä mekaa- nisesti kuidutettuja kuituja, luonnonkuiduista valmis- tettua selluloosakuitua ja niiden seoksia, muovipohjaista ainesta, kuten halkaisijaltaan alle ~4000 um kokoisia muovipartikkeleita, muovikuituja, ja ainesta, joka pa- rantaa mainitun luonnonkuituaineen ja mainitun muovipoh- jaisen aineen yhteensopivuutta, jossa komposiittimateri- aali valmistetaan sekoittamalla (M) mainitut aineet kes- kenään ja sen jälkeen mekaanisesti puristamalla ja/tai lämpökuivaamalla muodostettu seos siinä olevan nesteen, kuten veden, poistamiseksi siitä, tunnettu siitä, että ainakin luonnonkuituaineksesta, muovipohjaisesta ainek- sesta ja yhteensopivuutta parantavasta aineksesta muo- dostuu märkäseos, jossa on 41 - 99,8 % vettä, jolloin muovipohjaisen aineksen ja luonnonkuituaineksen välisin kemiallisin sidoksin materiaalia koossa pitävän sisäisen verkkorakenteen omaavan komposiittimateriaalin valmista- miseksi märkäseos syötetään devolatilisaatioprosessiin (D) ekstruuderissa (E), jossa nestemäisessä muodossa oleva aines ja muut kaasuuntuvat haihtuvat ainekset tai ainakin pääosa niistä poistetaan voimakkaan painemuutok- sen [V2, P2] -) [VAtm, PAtm], lämmön ja mekaanisen sekoi- tuksen vuoksi, sekä muutetaan tarvittaessa luonnonkuitu- aineksen, kuten selluloosakuidun, rakennetta, ja suori- tetaan höyryräjäytys.
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että märkäseosta käsitellään devolatilisaatiopro- sessissa (D) siinä olevan muoviaineksen pehmenemislämpö- tilaa korkeammassa lämpötilassa.
3. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 tai 2 mukainen menetelmä, tun- nettu siitä, että märkäseoksesta devolatilisaatioproses- sissa (D) muodostettu esikompaundi johdetaan kompaundoin- tiprosessiin (C), jossa devolatilisaatioprosessissa ho- mogenoitu esikompaundi sulasekoitetaan.
4. Jonkin edellisistä patenttivaatimuksista 1-3 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että ennen märkäseoksen syöt- tämistä devolatilisaatioprosessiin (D) se kuivataan me- kaanisin esikuivausmenetelmin (K), kuten raina- ja imu- laatikkojärjestelyin ja/tai ruuvikuivaimin.
5. Jonkin edellisistä patenttivaatimusten 1-4 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että märkäseos syötetään ekstruuderiin (E), joka toimii devolatilisaatioprosessin ensimmäisen vaiheen (D1) sekoituslaitteena, jolloin mär- käseos sekoitetaan korotetussa lämpötilassa ja höyryn- paineessa (Pi), jolloin vesi/höyry, kuituaines ja muo- viaines muodostavat seoksen, jossa muoviaine alkaa aina- kin osittain sulaa.
6. Patenttivaatimuksen 5 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että devolatilisaatioprosessin ensimmäisen vai- heen (D1) edelleen korotettu paine saavutetaan pienentä- mällä ekstruuderin (E) perustilavuus (V1) sen ruuvin (El) ja seinämän välillä pienemmäksi tilavuudeksi (V2) muut- tamalla ruuvin muotoa, kuten sen nousua muuttamalla tai vastaavalla tavalla.
7. Patenttivaatimuksen 5 tai 6 mukainen menetelmä, tun- nettu siitä, että devolatilisaatioprosessin toisessa vai- heessa (D2) devolatisoitu seos johdetaan sopivimmin il- makehän paineessa (PAtm, VAtm) olevaan vapautustilaan seoksessa olevan veden muuttamiseksi nopeasti höyryksi ja sen erottamiseksi kuitu- ja muoviaineksista, jonka jäl- keen muodostunut seos siirretään edelleen sekoituslait- teen kompaundointivyöhykkeelle (C) sen jatkoprosessoi- mista varten.
