Abstract
Tämän keksinnön esimerkkiaspekti esittää eukaryoottisen isännän, jota on modifioitu niin, että se konvertoi sokereita suoraan glykolihapoksi. Koko glykolihapon tuotantoreitti on viety sytosoliin. Esitetään myös menetelmä glykolihapon valmistamiseksi tällaista isäntää käyttämällä.
