Abstract

The invention relates to a multilayer packaging laminate. According to an embodiment the multilayer packaging laminate comprises a fiber-based substrate, a barrier layer, tie-layers and a plastic film layer providing an interface with a product to be packaged and comprising low density polyethylene and polyolefin plastomer and having off odour and off flavour intensity level below 2 to the product to be packaged. The invention further relates to a method for providing a packaging laminate, use of the packaging laminate for a liquid container, and use a container for packaging of pure water.
