Esillä oleva keksintö liittyy suoja-ainekoostumukseen, jossa on vesiliukoinen suoja-aine ja vettä läpäisevä kiinteytysaine. Suoja-ainekoostumus voi olla sulatekappaleen muodossa. Esillä oleva keksintö liittyy myös menetelmään puun käsittelemiseksi käsittäen mainitun suoja-aineen laittamisen aukkoon mainitussa puussa. Esillä oleva keksintö liittyy myös mainitulla käsittelymenetelmällä saatuun puuhun.
