Abstract

Uppfinningen inriktar sig på ett förfarande för att förbättra metallkomponenternas reduktionsgrad i kromitkoncentratet vid smältningen av lämplig ferroblandning vid framställningen av rostfritt stål. Kromitkoncentratet matas tillsammans med den nickelhaltiga råvaran in i smältugnen så, att man med hjälp av mängden nickelhaltig råvara åstadkommer önskad reduktionsgrad för de metallkomponenter som ingår i ferroblandningen.
