Abstract
Keksintö koskee menetelmää ja järjestelyä säiliön (1), joka on täytetty fluidilla, joka on nestemäisen maakaasun tai vastaavan kryogeenisen kaasun, joka sisältää hiilivetyjä, muodossa fluidi- tai kaasuvuotojen valvomiseksi ja ilmaisemiseksi, jolloin mainittu säiliö käsittää ainakin ensimmäisen (2) ja toisen (3) suojaseinän, jotka sijaitsevat välin päässä toisistaan ja jotka on kiinnitetty toisiinsa väliosilla (5), jotka jättävät kaasutiiviin tilan seinien (2, 3) väliin, jolloin fluidi on ensimmäisen suojaseinän (2) sisäpuolella. Menetelmä käsittää ensimmäisen moodin, joka sisältää vaiheet, joissa viedään inerttiä kaasua välitilaan (6, 7, 8) ja joissa sitten syötetään mainittua inerttiä kaasua ilmaisuvälineelle (11) ensimmäisen suojaseinän (2) läpi mahdollisesti vuotaneiden hiilivetyjen ilmaisemiseksi, ja toisen moodin, joka sisältää vaiheet, joissa kasvatetaan paine välitilassa (6, 7, 8) enintään ensimmäisen suojaseinän (2) sisäpuolella vallitsevan paineen tasolle ja joissa sitten valvotaan painetasoa välitilassa. The method comprises a first mode, which includes the steps of introducing an inert gas into the intermediate space (6, 7, 8) and then feeding said inert gas to a detection means (11) to detect any hydrocarbons that may have leaked through the first protective wall (2), and a second mode, which includes the steps of increasing the pressure in the intermediate space (6, 7, 8) to a maximum level of the pressure inside the first protective wall (2) and then monitoring the pressure level in the intermediate space. According to the invention, these two modes are furthermore used alternately. (Fig.1)
