Abstract

Keksinnön kohteena on menetelmä yhtenäisen mineraalikuitutuotteen valmistamiseksi. Menetelmässä saadaan ensimmäinen ja toinen primäärinen mineraalikuiturata, joilla molemmilla on tietty leveys. Ensimmäinen ja toinen primäärinen mineraalikuiturata asetetaan ainakin osittain toistensa päälle niin, että saadaan yhdistetty primäärirata, jolla on ensimmäinen ja toinen reunaosa sekä niiden välinen keskiosa, ja yhdistettyä primäärirataa kuljetetaan ensimmäisessä suunnassa. Sekundäärinen mineraalikuiturata saadaan laskostamalla yhdistetty primäärirata poikittain ensimmäistä suuntaa nähden, jolloin yhdistetty primäärirata järjestetään osittain päällekkäin itsensä kanssa niin, että suorakulmainen etäisyys yhdistetyn radan kahden peräkkäisen taitoksen välillä määrittää sekundäärisen kuituradan leveyden, ja yhdistetyn radan reunaosat muodostavat ainakin osan sekundäärisen radan isoista pinnoista. Saatu sekundäärinen kuiturata karaistaan karkaisu-uunissa, ja katkaistaan sopivan kokoisiksi lopullisiksi tuotteiksi. Ensimmäinen ja toinen kuiturata valitaan tai valmistetaan niin, että ensimmäisessä primäärisessä kuituradassa ainakin yksi seuraavista ominaisuuksista: keskimääräinen kuidun halkaisija, keskimääräinen kuitupituus, neliömassa, kuituosuus, kemiallinen koostumus, sidosainepitoisuus tai sidosaineen koostumus, poikkeaa vähintään 5 % toisen primäärisen kuituradan vastaavasta arvosta. Keksinnön kohteena on myös mineraalikuitutuote.(Fig.2)
