Abstract

Menetelmä biopolttoainetta polttavan kerrosleijukattilan typenoksidipäästöjen vähentämiseksi ja biopolttoainetta polttavan kerrosleijukattilan ilmanjakojärjestelmä. Kerrosleijukattilan tulipesän (1) alaosaan on järjestetty leijukerros (2), jota leijutetaan leijutuskaasun, joka sisältää ainakin primääri-ilmaa, avulla. Leijukerrokseen (2) syötetään polttoainetta, joka kuivuu ja pyrolysoituu polttoaineen haihtuvia aineita sisältäväksi pyrolyysikaasuksi, joka nousee ylöspäin tulipesässä ja palaa siellä. Leijukerroksen (2) yläpuolelle syötetään sekundääri-ilmaa sekundääri-ilmasuuttimista (6) ja sekundääri-ilmasuuttimien (6) yläpuolelle syötetään tertiääri-ilmaa. Osa primääri-ilmasta syötetään polttoaineen syötön yhteydessä niin, että polttoaine pakotetaan olennaisesti leijukerroksen (2) pinnalle, jolloin se pyrolysoituu olennaisesti kokonaan ja että ainakin osa pyrolyysissä muodostuneista pyrolyysikaasuista poltetaan primääri-ilman avulla niin, että ilmakerroin pyrolyysikaasussa olevien polttoaineen haihtuvien aineiden suhteen on alistökiömetrisellä alueella.&sr;Fig. 2A method for reducing nitrogen oxide emissions from a biofuel-burning fluidized bed boiler and an air distribution system for a biofuel-burning fluidized bed boiler. A fluidized bed (2) is arranged in the lower part of the furnace (1) of the fluidized bed boiler, which is fluidized by means of a fluidizing gas containing at least primary air. Fuel is fed to the fluidized bed (2), which dries and pyrolyzes into a pyrolysis gas containing volatile substances of the fuel, which rises upwards in the furnace and burns there. Secondary air is fed above the fluidized bed (2) from secondary air nozzles (6) and tertiary air is fed above the secondary air nozzles (6). Part of the primary air is supplied in connection with the fuel supply so that the fuel is essentially forced onto the surface of the fluidized bed (2), whereby it is essentially completely pyrolyzed and at least part of the pyrolysis gases formed in the pyrolysis are burned by means of the primary air so that the air ratio in relation to the volatile substances of the fuel in the pyrolysis gas is in the substoichiometric range.&sr;Fig. 2
