Description
DEVICE FOR WASHING AND STORING DISHWARE
The present invention relates to washing and storing dishware, and more particularly to a device for washing and storing dishware.
Dishwashers are used to wash used dishware, removing the need for washing the dishware by hand. However, because the dishwasher needs to be used for washing further dirty dishware, the washed dishware cannot be used for storing the dishware without the fear of the washed dishware being soiled by the dirty dishware. Therefore the dishwasher does not remove the household chore of moving the washed dishware from the dishwasher to the storage, e.g. cupboard.
An object of the present invention is to provide a device for washing and storing dishware.
The object of the invention is achieved by the device which is characterized by what is stated in the independent claim. The preferred embodiments of the invention are disclosed in the dependent claims.
The invention is based on the idea of providing a device for washing and storing dishware, such as plates, drinkware, and cutlery, the device comprising -- a top wall, = . o -- a bottom wall opposite the top wall, = — a back wall extending between the top wall and the bottom wall, + — lateral walls extending between the top wall and the bottom wall,
E — a front wall opposite the back wall and extending between the top wall 2 25 and the bottom wall,
O -- a washing section for washing the dishware by spraying the dishware
O with washing solvent, the washing section comprising a washing section door arranged in the front wall for inserting dishware in the washing section,
— a storage section arranged next to the washing section for storing the washed dishware, the storage section comprising a storage section door arranged in the front wall for removing dishware from the storage section, — atleast one holder for holding a piece of dishware during washing and storing the piece of dishware, - a holder actuator arrangement for supporting the at least one holder and for moving the at least one holder between the washing section and the storage section, and — an openable partition wall arranged between the washing section and the storage section for preventing the washing solvent from transferring from the washing section to the storage section during washing of the dishware while allowing moving the at least one holder between the washing section and the storage section; wherein the device is arranged to move the at least one holder from the storage section to the washing section after a piece of dishware is removed from the at least one holder; the device is arranged to wash a piece of dishware inserted to the at least one holder in the washing section; and the device is arranged to move the at least one holder from the washing section to the storage section after washing the piece of dishware. > An advantage of the invention is that the device moves the washed
S dishware to the storage without having to do it manually, and that the washing section = is available to wash further dishes while storing at least some of the washed dishware = in the storage section. x a 25 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
