METODO PARA PURIFICAR LA PROTEINA INHIBIDORA DE FOSFOLIPASA HUMANA (H PIP). COMPRENDE: A) TRATAR FLUIDO DE DIALISIS INTERPERITONE AL HUMANO CON SULFATO DE AMONIO AL 40-60%, PARA OBTENER UN PRECIPITADO; B) TRATAR AL PRECIPITADO CON AFFIGEL B, PARA DAR UNA FRACCION NO FIJADA; C) HACER REACCIONAR A LA FRACCION NO FIJADA DE (B) CON CONCANAVALINA-A SEPHAROSE, PARA FORMAR UNA FRACCION FIJADA; D) CROMATOGRAFIAR A LA FRACCION NO FIJADA DE (C) EN COLUMNA DE CAMBIO IONICO A PH ENTRE 7 Y 9, PARA OBTENER UNA FRACCION ACTIVA; E) DIALIZAR LA FRACCION ACTIVA CON CITRATO SODICO A PH DE 5,5 PARA DAR UN PRECIPITADO Y UN SOBRENADANTE; Y F) RECUPERAR EL SOBRENADANTE. LA PROTEINA HPIP TIENE UNA SECUENCIA DE AMINOACIDOS PRIMARIOS DE UN 4% DE HOMOLOGIA CON LA SECUENCIA DE LA PROTEINA MADURA. SE UTILIZA PARA TRATAR LAS INFLAMACIONES HUMANAS Y EN ANIMALES.
