Abstract
The derivs of formula (I), in which R1, R2, R3 and R4 can be various radicals, and acceptable acid addn. salts, for pharmacological use to support narcosis, suppress aggressive and exercise an anti-convulsive effect, are made by reaction of a thieno-diazepine cpd. of formula (II) with a carboxylic acid R4COOH or deriv. Reaction is in an inert organic solvent, in presence of an acid catalyst, at 0-250 deg. C.
