CONSISTE EN TRATAR S-6-FLUOR-4(BENCILOXICARBONILAMINO)CROMAN-4-CARBOXAMIDA CON SUSTANCIALMENTE UN EQUIVALENTE DE UNA BASE FUERTE EN UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO ANHIDRO, INERTE A LA REACCION. ESTE DISOLVENTE NO INTERACCIONA CON LOS COMPUESTOS DE PARTIDA, LOS REACTIVOS, LOS INTERMEDIOS NI LOS PRODUCTOS. SE USA EN EL CONTROL EFECTIVO DE LAS COMPICACIONES DE LA DIABETES MELLITUD.
