Abstract

A device for the production of photographic records for identification purposes in which a housing (18) can be pivoted in front of a camera (12), used to take several photographs of a person who is to be recorded and by means of which a sheet (24) can be imparted with a sharp image in the film plane (14) by means of a balancing optical system (30) and the camera lens (16). This sheet (24) contains a fingerprint of the person photographed. In this way a film strip is obtained containing also the fingerprint next to a portrait record of the person.
