Abstract

New 1,2-oxazetidines of formula (I), in which R and R' together with the N-atom form a 4-(3-chlorophenyl) piperazine gp., are made by reacting N-(2-bromethoxy) phthalimide of formula (II) with an amine of formula RR'NH, in polar protonic solvent, pref. a 1-4C aliphatic alcohol.
