Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I (R<1> is halogen, lower alkyl, cyano, etc. R<2> is lower alkyl which may be replaced, lower alkenyl, or lower alkynyl with the proviso that R<2> is neither difluoromethyl nor 2,2,2- trifluoroethyl R<3> is 1-8C alkyl, 3-8C alkenyl, lower cycloalkyl, etc. X and Y are O or S Z is H, lower alkyl, halogen, etc.). EXAMPLE:Isopropyl N-(3-ethyl-4-ethoxyphenyl)carbamate. USE:An agricultural and gardening fungicide. Showing selectively high fungicidal effect on fungi resistant to drugs having resistance to cyclic imide-based fungicide.
