Abstract
Paste is prepd, composed of water, kaolinitic clay, deflocculating agent, sequestering agent and electrolytes, and to this is added fireclay in amount of 50% and powdered quartz in amount of 0.5-20%. The paste formed is subjected to successive shaping operations by moulding, drying in hot air and enamelling. Finally, the parts formed from the paste are baked in a suitable oven at 1150-1200 deg.C.
