Abstract

A crushing plant comprising a crushing rotor (12), a crushing plate (13) as well as an endless conveyor belt (6) supplying the material to be crushed and sweeping the crushing plate (13), has a particularly simple structure, the endless conveyor (6) forming at least one transport run (5) and in the area of the crushing plate (13), an inclined transport run. The endless conveyor (6) is thereby configured as a closed plate conveyor. The operation of the crushing plant is such that the endless conveyor (6) stops temporarily in case of exceeding a predetermined crushing pressure.
