Abstract

1. A method of blending a plurality of components of a colouring liquid and for atomising the same and also possibly for electrostatically charging the particles of atomised liquid, wherein the components are fed separately to a collecting location which has a fixed spatial relationship to the atomising location and in which the collected components are homogeneously blended before they reach the atomising location as a mixture, characterised in that the components are heterogeneously blended at the collecting location without the admixture of air, the mixture being, between the collecting location and the atomising location, gradually converted to a mixture which is atomised under the influence of the centrifugal forces which are generated.
