Abstract

Pharmaceutical compositions comprising compounds of formula (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts and/or the corresponding N-oxides and/or solvates: < IMAGE > where: R1 is a C1-6 alkoxy or C1-6 alkylthio group and one of R2, R3 and R4 is hydrogen, the second is C1-6 alkylthio and the third is selected from the group of constituents comprising hydrogen, halogen, CF3, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, C1-6 alkylthio, C1-7 acyl, C1-7 acyl amino, C1-6 alkyl sulphonyl, C1-6 alkyl sulphinyl, hydroxy, nitro or amino, aminocarbonyl or aminosulphonyl optionally N-substituted by one or two C1-6 alkyl groups or R1 is joined to R2 to form C1-2 alkylenedioxy and one of R3 and R4 is C1-6 alkylthio and the other is selected from the group of substituents specified above R5 is hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl R6 is C1-7 alkyl or a -(CH2)sR7 group, where s is from 0 to 2 and R7 is a C3-8 cycloalkyl group or a -(CH2)tR8 group, where t is 1 or 2 and R8 is C2-5 alkinyl or a phenyl group optionally substituted by one or two substituents selected from C1-6 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl and halogen, or a thienyl group and p and q are, separately, from 0 to 2, and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle, new compounds of formula (I) which have useful pharmacological activity and a process for their preparation.
