THE APPLIANCE CONSISTS OF A COMPRESSED, NON-OXIDIZING GAS SOURCE; AND OF A GAS SWEEPING ROW (11) HAVING A SWEEPING HOLE CIRCUMFERENTIALLY SURROUNDING A CENTRAL THROAT THROUGH WHICH THE LINEAR MATERIAL PASSES.
