CONSISTE EN CULTIVAR VIRUS TIPO 1 DE HERPES SIMPLEX O VIRUS TIPOS 2 DE HERPES SIMPLEX EN CULTIVOS CELULARES A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 20 C Y 40 C EN DOS ETAPAS, PRIMERO EN PRESENCIA DE ACIDO FOSFONOFORMICO, EN CONCENTRACION DE 20 A 50 NG/ML, Y POSTERIORMENTE EN PRESENCIA DE 5-ETIL-2''-DESOXIURIDINA, EN CONCENTRACION DE 5 A 20 NG/ML, O VICEVERSA, HACIENDOLES PASAR EN AMBOS CASOS A TRAVES DE VARIAS PASADAS. TIENE APLICACION PARA LA OBTENCION DE VACUNAS CONTRA EL HERPES.
