Abstract

1. Cylinder for printing units of rotary presses with cylinder bearers (3, 10) provided at either side in contact with the cylinder end faces (4), said cylinder bearers (3, 10) being mounted on the cylinder (1) centralized with respect to the latter's rotation axis by means of a conical centering ring surface (7), wherein on the side facing the cylinder (1) and starting from its cylindrical bore (11) the cylinder bearer (3) exhibits the conical centering ring surface (7) with which it is centered by axial pressure on a centering edge (6) of a cylindrical centering ring (5) adjacent to the cylinder end face (4).
