METODO Y APARATO PARA PRECALENTAR CHATARRA DE HIERRO. CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: QUEMAR COMBUSTIBLES INCLUIDOS EN LOS GASES DE ESCAPE GENERADOR EN EL HORNO DE ARCO ELECTRICO. 2. CONDUCIR DICHOS GASES DE ESCAPE NORMALIZADOS EN UNA CUBETA DE CARGA PARA PRECALENTAR LA CHATARRA DE HIERRO A UNA TEMPERATURA PREDETERMINADA. 3. INTRODUCIR DICHA CHATARRA EN EL HORNO DE ARCO ELECTRICO. EL APARATO CONSTA DE UNA TORRE DE COMBUSTION EN LA QUE QUEMAN LOS GASES COMBUSTIBLES; UNA CUBETA DE CARGA EN LA QUE SE PRECALIENTA LA CHATARRA UTILIZANDO LOS GASES EN LA TORRE DE COMBUSTION.METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREHEATING IRON SCRAP. IT CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS: BURNING FUELS INCLUDED IN THE GENERATOR EXHAUST GASES IN THE ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE. 2. CONDUCT SUCH STANDARD EXHAUST GASES INTO A CHARGE TANK TO PREHEAT THE IRON SCRAP TO A PRESET TEMPERATURE. 3. INSERT SUCH SCRAP INTO THE ELECTRIC ARC OVEN. THE APPLIANCE CONSISTS OF A COMBUSTION TOWER IN WHICH COMBUSTIBLE GASES BURN; A CARGO TUB IN WHICH THE SCRAP IS PREHEATED USING THE GASES IN THE COMBUSTION TOWER.
