PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA SEPARACION DE ARSENICO CONTENIDO EN MEDIOS ACUOSOS. SE INCORPORA AL MEDIO ACUOSO CON ARSENICO, EN PRESENCIA DE FOSFORO IONIZABLE SOLUBLE EN AGUA, LA CANTIDAD NECESARIA DE HIDROXIDO DE CALCIO PARA AJUSTAR EL MEDIO ACUOSO A UN PH ADECUADO EN CADA CASO, CAUSANDO CON ELLO LA PRECIPITACION DEL ARSENICO Y DEL FOSFORO. A CONTINUACION SE SEPARAN LOS PRECIPITADOS DEL MEDIO ACUOSO. LAS CONCENTRACIONES RESIDUALES DE ARSENICO Y DE FOSFORO, QUE SE ENCUENTRAN EN EL MENOR ESTADO DE OXIDACION, PUEDEN SER DISMINUIDAS MEDIANTE SU OXIDACION CON CLORO ANTERIORMENTE A LA ADICION DEL HIDROXIDO DE CALCIO, LO QUE CONDUCE A CONPUESTOS MAS INSOLUBLES QUE SE SEPARAN DEL MEDIO ACUOSO POR PRECIPITACION.
