CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: 1) REACCION DE CLORURO DE ACIDO PIROGLUTANICO, CON UN DERIVADO BENCENICO DE FORMULA (I), OBTENIENDOSE EL COMPUESTO (II). *FORMULA* 2) REDUCCION DEL COMPUESTO (II) PARA OBTENER EL DERIVADO DE 2-PIRROLIDIN-METANOL (III), EN QUE X REPRESENTA HIDROGENO, HALOGENO UN GRUPO ALCOXIALQUILO O CILCOALQUILO; R REPRESENTA UN ATOMO DE HIDROGENO, UN GRUPO ALQUILO O UN GRUPO ARALQUILO O HIDROXIALQUILO. EL AGENTE REDUCTOR EMPLEADO ES EL DIBORANO O UN HIDRURO METALICO.
