CONSISTE EN UN HAZ DE TUBOS AXIALMENTE PARALELOS ALOJADOS EN DISCOS COLOCADOS PERPENDICULARMENTE; LOS DISTINTOS TUBOS ESTAN UNIDOS ENTRE SI FORMANDO UN TRAMO DE TRATAMIENTO, EN CUYO PRINCIPIO SE EFECTUA LA ALIMENTACION DEL MATERIAL SOLIDO O LIQUIDO Y EN SU FINAL SE EFECTUA LA EVACUACION DEL MISMO. EL TRAMO DE TRATAMIENTO ESTA SUBDIVIDIDO EN SECCIONES INDIVIDUALES CUYOS RECINTOS DE GAS ESTAN HERMETIZADOS ENTRE SI. EN CADA SECCION SE EVACUA ESTE GAS, ESTANDO LAS DIFERENTES SECCIONES UNIDAS ENTRE SI POR PASOS PARA EL MATERIAL. OPCIONALMENTE SE PUEDE UNIR LA EVACUACION DE MATERIAL DE UN TRAMO INDIVIDUAL DE TRATAMIENTO CON LAS ALIMENTACIONES DE VARIOS TRAMOS DE TRATAMIENTO.
