Abstract

An electrical component, e.g. a ceramic plate capacitor, has a body portion from which terminals or electrodes for providing connection to a printed circuit extend. Annular beads are formed on the terminals for limiting the insertion into bores of a printed circuit board. The component is provided with an insulative sheathing by immersing the body portion and the terminals into a bath of the sheathing material sufficiently for the coating of the component to extend no further than the side of the beads adjacent the body portion.
