Abstract
Procedimiento de hidrodealquilación de hidrocarburos alquil aromáticos por reacción entre el hidrocarburo alquilo aromático y el hidrógeno, efectuándose la reacción a una temperatura comprendida entre 450 y 650ºC a una presión de 1 a 30 bares, estando comprendida la relación molar entre el hidrógeno y el hidrocarburo entre 1 y 10, estando comprendida la velocidad espacial entre 1 y 10 volúmenes de carga líquida por volumen de catalizador y por hora, caracterizado porque se efectúa la reacción en ausencia de vapor de agua y en presencia de un catalizador constituido por una parte por rodio y por otra, por un soporte constituido al menos parcialmente por una aluminato de estructura espinela y que responde a la fórmula general MAl2O4, xAl2O3 donde x puede varia entre 0 y 200 y donde M es al menos un metal elegido entre el grupo constituido poro níquel, cobalto, cobre, cinc, hierro y magnesio.
