Abstract
The uptem is for production of a coupling disc for use in an electromagnetic coupling, and has a short tube section cut off and used to form a central boss or hub. One end of the cut off tube section has its outer edge processed into an undercut pattern and then a pressed disc is prepared with a flange at right angles to the outer edge. This flanged disc has a central hole cut into it and is positioned with its aperture on the outer undercut edge of the tube section. The end of the tube section is subsequently crimped so that the two sections form a mechanically and magnetically continuous single unit.
