Abstract

Estructura de electrodo para baño de metal en fusión, ocluida dentro de un revestimiento refractario que recubre la pared de un recipiente que contiene el baño metálico, que aflora por uno de sus extremos en la superficie interna de dicho revestimiento y que sobresale por su extremo opuesto fuera del recipiente, del tipo de los que comprenden un ánima central conductora de la electricidad y que atraviesa la pared de recipiente, y una camisa de enfriamiento dispuesta alrededor del ánima central y en estrecho contacto con ella, caracterizada por el hecho de que el ánima central está unida estrechamente por su extremo exterior al recipiente con un borne de alimentación eléctrica, estando la zona del ánima central adyacente al extremo exterior y enfrentada a la camisa de enfriamiento, aislada eléctricamente de esta última.
