Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un rodamiento hidrostático que comprende una parte de pie que soporta a una unidad portadora de carga, una parte de cabeza, y una parte de cuerpo que forman una cámara inferior y una cámara superior. Un miembro inferior es soportado por la unidad portadora de carga y dispuesto dentro de la cámara inferior. Un miembro superior es controlable mediante un fluido de presurización y dispuesto dentro de la cámara superior. El miembro inferior se mueve, de forma controlable, a lo largo de un eje central del rodamiento hidrostático entre un estado retraído, en donde el miembro inferior está separado del miembro superior, y un estado extendido, en donde el miembro inferior está en contacto con el miembro superior. El rodamiento hidrostático de acuerdo con la presente invención posee ventajas tanto de un rodamiento esclavo convencional como de un rodamiento maestro convencional.
