Sistema de detección y localización de un evento [C] de tipo impacto mecánico, fuga o transitorio de presión en una canalización [1] de transporte de fluido, que comprende por lo menos dos módulos remotos [10i-1,10i] de detección destinados a estar colocados en la canalización [1] separados unos de otros por unas distancias conocidas [Di-1,i], incluyendo cada módulo remoto [10i] por lo menos: - unos medios de adquisición [101] de una señal temporal [20i] procedente de por lo menos un sensor [11i] de ondas acústicas o vibraciones o tensiones asociado al módulo remoto [10i] y localizado con respecto a éste, - unos medios de horofechado [102] de la señal temporal [20i], - unos medios de tratamiento [103] de la señal temporal [20i] aptos para calcular [104] un descriptor multicomponentes [21i] representativo de la señal temporal [20i], basado en una descomposición en N niveles [Niv] procedente de la densidad espectral de la señal temporal [20i] en N bandas de frecuencia y para analizar [105] estos niveles [Niv] con el fin de detectar un impacto mecánico o una fuga o un transitorio, - unos medios de emisión [107] para emitir una señal de detección [23i] que comprende una parte de este descriptor [21i] asociada a la marca temporal [22] de la señal temporal [20i] correspondiente a la detección, comprendiendo esta parte del descriptor los niveles en las bandas de frecuencia reveladoras de la aparición del evento detectado, hacia por lo menos un módulo remoto adyacente [10i-1] o hacia un dispositivo de análisis [13] apto para analizar las señales [23i] de detección, para confirmar y localizar los impactos mecánicos o fugas o transitorios producidos.
