Abstract

A wheel cover or hub cap, is provided with a wire ring (7) which is mounted on axial projections (3,4) of the cover or cap such that in use the ring engages, directly or indirectly via the projections, with the wheel mounting nuts (6) or bolts to secure the cover or cap to the wheel. As illustrated the ring (7) is mounted on the radially outer surfaces of alternate rigid (3) and resilient (4) projections, the latter snapping behind the wheel nuts (6) in use.
