Abstract
La presente invención concierne al método de fabricación de pectina acromática en el rango de 250-380 nm y 400-700 nm, con un grado de esterificación de 12-81% y con valores de conductividad del agua de lavado de 300-450 μs/cm. La materia prima se trata con una solución de peróxido de hidrogeno y con una solución de ácido mineral en condiciones suaves y medias. De esta forma logramos la decoloración y modificación química de los componentes de la pared vegetal de la materia prima. Mediante la combinación de procesos químicos de oxidación e hidrólisis se consigue obtener una pectina con un elevado grado de pureza sin la necesidad de una etapa de purificación por coagulación alcohólica.The present invention concerns the manufacturing method of achromatic pectin in the range of 250-380 nm and 400-700 nm, with a degree of esterification of 12-81% and with conductivity values of the wash water of 300-450 μs/ cm. The raw material is treated with a hydrogen peroxide solution and with a mineral acid solution under mild and medium conditions. In this way we achieve the discoloration and chemical modification of the components of the vegetal wall of the raw material. Through the combination of chemical processes of oxidation and hydrolysis, it is possible to obtain a pectin with a high degree of purity without the need for a purification step by alcoholic coagulation.
