Abstract

Una preforma (200) para el moldeado por soplado de un recipiente (300) que comprende: - una parte de cuello, - una parte intermedia, y - una parte del cuerpo ubicada en el extremo cerrado de la preforma, caracterizada porque la preforma adicionalmente comprende por lo menos dos elementos de refuerzo alargados (210) provistos en el lado del interior (206b) de la pared lateral (206) de la parte intermedia de la preforma (200), dichos elementos de refuerzo extendiéndose en una dirección perpendicular al eje longitudinal (I) de la preforma (200) y está formada por un escalón de la pared lateral (206) de la preforma (200), en el que en el escalón el diámetro del lado interior (206b) de la pared lateral (206) disminuye abruptamente, mientras que el diámetro del lado exterior (206a) de la pared lateral (206) disminuye gradualmente.

Las figuras 6A y 6B muestran otra vez una sección transversal vertical y una sección transversal horizontal a través de un tercer ejemplo de una preforma 1.
En esta preforma no está provisto un grosor sustancialmente constante de la pared lateral 6, sino que en cambio se proporciona un grosor de la pared lateral 6 que varía constantemente. De ese modo, el grosor de la pared lateral 6 a lo largo de la dirección vertical es siempre constante pero variando a lo largo de la dirección horizontal de la pared lateral. Como se puede ver a partir de la figura 6B están provistas ranuras o muescas 20 que tienen un grosor de pared mínimo d0 de la pared lateral 6. Entre cada dos ranuras 2 está prevista una parte de grosor máximo 21 que tiene el grosor máximo d1. El grosor de la pared de la pared lateral 6 de ese modo aumenta o disminuye constantemente entre las ranuras 20 y las partes de grosor máximo 21.
De este modo la preforma comprende elementos de refuerzo verticales o en otras palabras comprende partes alargadas de diferentes grosores de la pared que se extienden a lo largo de una dirección vertical.
Las figuras 7A y 7B muestran un cuarto ejemplo de una preforma. Al igual que en el ejemplo representado en las figuras 6A y 6B en este cuarto ejemplo el grosor de la pared lateral 6 a lo largo de la dirección horizontal varia. De este modo, otra vez, están provistas ranuras o muescas 22 que tienen un grosor de la pared mínimo y están provistos salientes o nervios 11 que tienen un grosor de la pared máximo.
Entre cada dos ranuras 22 está provisto un saliente 11. El grosor de la pared de la pared lateral 6 en contraste con el tercer ejemplo no disminuye ni aumenta constantemente, sino que aumenta a una velocidad más elevada cerca de los salientes o en otras palabras aumenta a una velocidad inferior cerca de las ranuras 22. De ese modo las ranuras tienen una forma redondeada o cóncava.
Las figuras 8 a 13 explican ahora diversas posiciones y formas diferentes de nervios verticales según una preforma ejemplar 1. Cada una de las figuras 8 a 13 muestra una sección transversal de una preforma 1. De ese modo, para una mejor explicación la figura 8 muestra una sección transversal de una preforma según la técnica anterior.
Como se puede ver a partir de la figura 8 la preforma según la técnica anterior tiene una pared lateral 600 que tiene un grosor de la pared constante d y no tiene nervios y/o ranuras.
La figura 9 muestra una sección transversal de una preforma que tiene un grosor sustancialmente constante d de la pared lateral 6 a lo largo de una dirección horizontal y que tiene nervios 12 en la superficie interior de la pared lateral
6. En el ejemplo representado en la figura 9 están provistos cuatro nervios interiores con una distancia constante entre ellos y que tienen una sección transversal en forma de un triángulo con una esquina superior redondeada.
La figura 10 muestra un ejemplo en el que otra vez la preforma tiene un grosor de la pared sustancialmente constante d de la pared lateral 6 y en la que están provistos cinco nervios 10 en la superficie interior 6a de la preforma. Los nervios 10 en este ejemplo tienen una sección transversal sustancialmente triangular.
En el ejemplo representado en las figuras 11 a 13 se representan secciones transversales de preformas que tienen nervios 12, 13 con una sección transversal de un semicírculo. Sin embargo, las figuras 11 a 13 están pensadas para mostrar diferentes posiciones posibles de los nervios y los ejemplos no están limitados a la sección transversal específica de los nervios representados.
En la figura 11 los nervios 16 están provistos únicamente en la superficie exterior 6b de la pared interior 6.
En la figura 12 están provistos nervios interiores 12 así como nervios exteriores 13. En la forma de realización representada en la figura 12 está provisto un número igual de nervios interiores 12 que de nervios exteriores 13. De ese modo, los nervios interiores 12 y los nervios exteriores 13 están desplazados unos de otros, de modo que en una posición a lo largo de la pared lateral 6 en donde está provisto un nervio exterior 13 no está provisto un correspondiente nervio interior 12.
Un ejemplo adicional se representa en la figura 13 en donde al igual que en la figura 12, están provistos un número igual de nervios interiores 12 que de nervios exteriores 13. Sin embargo, en este ejemplo los nervios no están desplazados unos respecto a los otros sino provistos en lados opuestos de la pared lateral 6.
La figura 14 muestra una sección transversal de una preforma que tiene cuatro nervios interiores 12. Adicionalmente en la figura 14 se representa una parte 30 de un recipiente final el cual se moldea por soplado a partir de la correspondiente preforma 1 que tienen una configuración como se representa en la figura 14.
La parte 30 del recipiente final está representada con líneas discontinuas. Como se puede ver, la pared lateral 6 de la preforma resultará en una correspondiente pared lateral 31 del recipiente. La pared lateral 31 también tiene un lado interior 31a y un lado exterior 31b. El nervio interior 12 de la preforma resultará en los correspondientes nervios interiores 32 o salientes o elementos de refuerzo en el recipiente final. Como nervios también pueden estar provistos nervios rectangulares 18 como se representa en la figura 21. También es posible cualquier otra sección transversal de los nervios sobre la base de secciones transversales elípticas, trapezoidales, o de otro tipo.
Las secciones transversales posibles de los nervios descritas antes se aplican a cualquier clase de nervio, esto es horizontal, vertical, en diagonal o en cualquier otra dirección.
La figura 22 muestra una sección transversal de una preforma que tiene nervios horizontales exteriores 15 según un ejemplo. También se representa en la figura 22 una parte 30 de un recipiente final moldeado por soplado a partir de una preforma de este tipo 1.
Como se puede ver el recipiente final en este caso comprende una pared lateral 31 que tiene un lado exterior sustancialmente plano 31b y un lado interior 31a que tienen nervios exteriores lisos 34. Mediante la utilización de nervios los cuales ya están provistos en el interior de la preforma en lugar de nervios unidos al recipiente durante el proceso de moldeado por soplado, se puede conseguir una superficie interior lisa y sustancialmente continua.
La posibilidad de proporcionar nervios interiores 34 en el recipiente final adicionalmente es únicamente posible cuando se proporciona una preforma con nervios interiores 14. Una preforma y el correspondiente recipiente adicionalmente tiene la ventaja de que no estarán presentes salientes en el lado exterior, de modo que se simplifican las aplicaciones de etiquetado. El etiquetado se mejora puesto que ocurren menos problemas con arrugas o con las líneas de referencia. Esto también hace más estético el aspecto del recipiente final.
En las figuras 23A y 23B se representan diferentes posibilidades de colocación de los nervios según los ejemplos y la forma de realización de la presente invención, respectivamente. En estas figuras se representa esquemáticamente una preforma 1 y la parte del cuello 2 también está indicada esquemáticamente. Como ya se ha explicado, en la parte del cuello 2 no se representan nervios o ranuras en las figuras, sin embargo también pueden estar provistos nervios y/o ranuras en la parte del cuello 2.
La figura 23A muestra un ejemplo con nervios verticales 40 que se extienden a lo largo de la longitud vertical completa de la pared lateral desde la parte del cuello 2 hasta el fondo 7.
La figura 23B muestra un ejemplo con nervios verticales 41, los cuales se extienden parcialmente a lo largo de la longitud vertical de la pared lateral. Los nervios 41 se pueden extender a lo largo de una parte superior de la pared lateral 6 empezando desde la parte del cuello 2, se pueden extender a lo largo de una parte inferior de la pared lateral 6 empezando desde el fondo o se pueden extender en una parte media de la pared lateral 6 y estando separados de la parte del cuello 2 así como de la parte del fondo 7.
Los nervios verticales 40, 41 como se representa en las figuras 23A y 23B pueden estar provistos en el lado interior de la pared 6 y/o en el lado exterior de la pared 6.
La figura 23C muestra un ejemplo con nervios horizontales exteriores 42 que se extienden a lo largo de la dirección circunferencial completa de la pared lateral 6.
La figura 23D muestra un ejemplo con nervios horizontales exteriores 43 que se extienden únicamente parcialmente a lo largo de la dirección circunferencial de la pared lateral 6. El mismo diseño que el representado en las figuras 23C y 23D puede ser aplicado a la forma de realización de la presente invención. Esto significa que los elementos de refuerzo 210 de la preforma 200 representada en la figura 1 también se pueden extender a lo largo de la dirección circunferencial completa de la pared lateral 206, o se pueden extender únicamente parcialmente a lo largo de la dirección circunferencial de la pared lateral 206.
Las ventajas de los ejemplos y de las formas de realización se pondrán de manifiesto adicionalmente a partir de los diagramas de las figuras 24 y 25. El diagrama en el eje Y muestra la fuerza en kgf, la cual fue ejercida en la parte superior de una botella la cual fue fabricada a partir de una preforma provista de nervios verticales. En el eje X se representa la deflexión de la botella en milímetros.
De ese modo, las figuras 24 y 25 muestran la comparación entre una botella fabricada a partir de una preforma con nervios de refuerzo y una botella fabricada a partir de una preforma normal del mismo peso de material. El gráfico representado con líneas discontinuas es el que resulta a partir de la preforma normal. El diagrama de la figura 24 de ese modo muestra el caso de la medición de la carga superior con botellas vacías y la figura 25 muestra el caso de la medición de la carga superior con botellas llenas.
Como se puede ver a partir de ambos diagramas las botellas fabricadas a partir de las preformas con nervios de refuerzo según los ejemplos y las formas de realización son capaces de soportar fuerzas más elevadas antes de que ocurra una deflexión. Por otra parte, debido a los nervios de refuerzo el resto de la pared de la botella se puede hacer más delgada, de modo que la botella como un todo pueda tener menos peso y material necesario.
